The first part of previous studies of the Urban Plan of Basauri has been developed within the commission of the city council

Aspects that required a more thorough study have been population data and those relating to planning management and development.

Housing needs generated most interest and were tackled with the analysis of the current housing availability in Basauri, the demand for social housing registered in Etxebide and the actual capacity of the municipality

In updating documentation of the existing Urban Plan, graphic information has been adapted both to topography and to the limits of properties. It has been made information forms for each execution unit, isolated proceeding and rural settlement, collecting data about buildings constructed area, age, use and the number of dwellings.

Finally, inclusive City was brought up in the process of Citizen Participation by making the map of the Forbidden City and a survey of the Urban Observatory of Basauri. These actions were intended to reflect the citizens’ assessment of the positive aspects of the city and the proposal of areas for improvement.
