This project purpose is the constructive definition of infrastructure, works, buildings and facilities to make for the construction of a new container terminal at Pier No. 2 of the expansion of the Port of Bilbao. The scope plot has a trapezoidal shape with a depth in the eastern limit of 300 m and 440 m on the western edge and a length 736 m parallel to quay. Two distinct areas are defined:

Operating zone: Its parallel to the edge of the quay and has an area of 40,480 sqm. Its function is to carry out the loading and unloading of vessels and goods traffic.

Concession area: This area covers an area of 227,000 sqm.
