The writing of the Urban Plan of Bermeo has allowed us to analyze and verify the validity of the proposal made years ago, as estudio.k wrote the first urban plan of the municipality.

This fact allowed to check that many of the proposals made at that time have resulted in new developments as well as in protecting the environment. The recently built bypass was already pointed in that document.

The reviem of the Urban Plan of Bermeo, approved in 2012, has focused on solving problems in areas which have shown management difficulties, in updating planning regulations ans in specific aspects of a consolidated urban planning.

We also incorporated cross issues such a gender point of view and citizen participation, which had a big success.

We also analyzed other subjects that have always been important to this team, as minimum negative impact on the enviroment. This has been summarized and verified in the Study of Strategic Environmental Assessment accompanying the Urban Plan of Bermeo since its first steps.
